This epic journey takes you from the island life of Parndana to the underground opal mining town of Coober Pedy. You must first cross the Backstairs Passage via the SeaLink ferry to Cape Jervis. From there, you head north through Adelaide and join the A87 Stuart Highway. The drive covers over 1100 kilometers of diverse Australian landscape. Prepare for long, straight roads and significant temperature changes.
