The route from Exmouth to Newman takes you inland through the heart of the Pilbara mining region. Covering roughly 650 kilometers, this drive is primarily on sealed roads but passes through very remote territory. You will travel via the Minilya-Exmouth Road and then head east toward the Great Northern Highway. Newman is a major iron ore mining hub, serving as a gateway to Karijini National Park.
