The drive from Berrimah to Mount Isa is a 1,500-kilometer journey across the heart of the Australian outback. You will travel south on the Stuart Highway before turning east onto the Barkly Highway at Three Ways. This route takes you through the vast, flat plains of the Barkly Tableland. Mount Isa is a major mining hub and the gateway to the Queensland outback. The journey is remote and requires a well-prepared vehicle and plenty of supplies.
